Carlo Ancelotti wants to bring three big-name star to Everton, while Chelsea have lined-up an alternative strike option to Moussa Dembele, according to Friday’s European press.

ANCELOTTI TARGETS THREE BIG EVERTON SIGNINGS

Carlo Ancelotti reportedly wants to sign Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne, Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez and Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot for Everton.

The Toffees turned to the veteran Italian boss after a disappointing first half of the new campaign and their form has seen an immediate uplift.

But the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss has already told the Goodison Park hierarchy that he needs to strengthen in January and funds are expected to be made available to do just that.

According to Tuttosport, Ancelotti is looking to take advantage of the unrest at his old club Napoli by snatching striker Insigne, while Juve star Rabiot has struggled for game time in Turin and could also be up for grabs.

James Rodriguez is also a player who could be on the move in January, having failed to win over Zinedine Zidane since his return to the Bernabeu after a loan stint at Bayern Munich.

Whilst these might seem unrealistic names for a club sitting 11th in the Premier League, Ancelotti hopes that his reputation alone and the lure of playing in England will be enough to convince any big names to head to Merseyside.
