Manchester United have their eyes on a crop of Premier League talent, including a former flop, while Chelsea target Championship sensation and Arsenal line up Granit Xhaka replacement, all in the papers.
UNITED OPEN TO ZAHA RETURN
Manchester United retain an interest in former flop Wilfried Zaha, according to a report.
Ian McGarry of the Transfer Window Podcast claims that United are looking at the forward, who flopped so badly at Old Trafford after an initial £1om move in 2013.
He said: ”Manchester United do have an interest in him still.
“Arsenal I believe don’t have either the money or desire to sign him.
“I think his options are limited. I think Steve Parrish’s valuation of £90m is going to limit him further.”
The winger had a disastrous spell at United under David Moyes and went on loan to Cardiff before returning to Palace on loan before a £3m deal with add-ons was struck.
Arsenal wanted to sign Zaha in the summer under Unai Emery, but couldn’t afford Palace’s asking price and instead signed Nicolas Pepe.
Chelsea have also been linked with the player, but the £90m valuation will not sit easy with Frank Lampard.
