Manchester United are ready to make a shock £90m bid for a Premier League midfielder in January, while Tottenham are scouting a new striker, according to Tuesday’s papers.
MAN UTD READY TO BID BIG FOR WEST HAM STAR
Manchester United are reportedly lining up a £90m bid for West Ham’s England midfielder Declan Rice in January.
The 20-year-old was linked with a switch to Old Trafford over the summer, having previously admitted that he believes he is good enough to play for the Red Devils.
A report in the Daily Express claims that United are looking at Rice to replace Nemanja Matic, who has been tipped to follow Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan in a €25m January deal.
Rice, who looks set to start England’s Euro 2020 clash with Kosova in Southampton on Tuesday night, has started the season in fine form for the Hammers and would certainly fit into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s mold of recruiting young British talent.
