Juventus has offered three players in a bid to sweeten the deal to sign Paul Pogba, while Daniel Sturridge could be heading to another team in the Premier League, all in Friday’s papers.

UNITED OFFERED TRIO

Juventus are willing to offer Joao Cancelo, Blaise Matuidi and Douglas Costa to get their hands on Paul Pogba, according to reports in Italy.

The Italian champions believe they can convince United to lower their £150 million ($188m) asking price for the French midfielder by offering to send Joao Cancelo, Douglas Costa and Blaise Matuidi to Old Trafford.

United are believed to be insisting that Pogba’s price tag is £150million and in a bid to reduce that fee, Juve have offered right-back Cancelo, attacker Costa, 28, and midfielder Matuidi, 32.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola, who also represents Matuidi, has certainly has not ruled out an Old Trafford exit for Pogba saying earlier in the week: “There’s still nothing. Staying at Manchester United? I live my life day by day, we’ll see what happens.

“The end of this story hasn’t been written. We’re here today, I don’t know about tomorrow.”

The transfer of another right-back after recently spending £50million on Aaron Wan-Bissaka is unlikely to convince United while the ages of the other two players is hardly in fitting with United’s new model of attracting youthful players.
