Norwich will hope to improve on a dire record at the Britannia Stadium when they travel to face Stoke on Wednesday evening.

Team news

Norwich expect to have winger Matt Jarvis available for Wednesday’s Barclays Premier League match at Stoke following a knee injury.

Manager Alex Neil reported no fresh injury problems following the FA Cup third-round defeat by Manchester City, when the likes of midfielder Robbie Brady and Alex Tettey were rested, so should come back into the starting XI along with goalkeeper Declan Rudd.

New signing Ivo Pinto will be given more time to settle in following the Portuguese full-back’s transfer from Dinamo Zagreb.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes is set to recall a host of first-team regulars for Wednesday’s Barclays Premier League home clash with Norwich.

The likes of Bojan Krkic, Xherdan Shaqiri, Marko Arnautovic and Ibrahim Afellay sat out the 2-1 FA Cup third-round win at Doncaster on Saturday and are poised to return.

Geoff Cameron (ankle), Marc Muniesa and Stephen Ireland (both hamstring) are not yet ready to make their comebacks from injury, while Shay Given (knee) also remains sidelined.
